Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to collaborate with clients in creating print and digital marketing programs that advance strategic goals and initiatives and successfully drive ROI for our clients.

Account Managers are responsible for gaining an understanding of each client’s organizational objectives, market composition, challenges, and competition to provide relevant marketing perspective and develop targeted, integrated strategy using True North’s innovative and diverse products.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Driving the development and achievement of client goals and addressing strategies, problems, or challenges with the highest possible level of client service
  • Working with design, editorial, dynamic media, and audience development teams to provide relevant and engaging custom content and design for each client
  • Interpreting and presenting data-driven market research findings to support client marketing plans and prove ROI
  • Managing the projected revenue associated with accounts and working to sell additional products and services that strategically meet the client’s needs
  • Maintaining an intimate knowledge of the functionality and relevance of all True North products and services
  • Taking ownership of client satisfaction
  • Overseeing production of each product from conception to delivery
    Managing all day-to day tasks associated with project management
  • Driving deadlines and ensuring the timely delivery of content, publications, and other dynamic media products
  • Coordinating the onboarding of selected complex accounts
  • Overseeing selected delayed and at-risk clients by maintaining a high level of focus and attention on determining solutions in the best interests of the relationships

Requirements

  • Positive, energetic, self-motivated personality with the ability to understand and respond to client goals and challenges
  • Strong and sophisticated verbal and written communication and innovative problem-solving skills
  • 5+ years of strategic marketing and client service experience, with preferred knowledge of the healthcare or financial industries
    Intense organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to perform with utmost diplomacy in high-pressure situations
  • Strong desire to learn about custom media and the healthcare and financial industries
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or business management, or equivalent experience in the field of media sales, business, publishing, or client service
  • National travel as necessary to visit clients
  • Residency in or relocation to the Chattanooga, Tenn. area
