CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR

Reporting directly to the Company’s Sales Administration Manager, the Contracts Administrator reads and reviews sales/insertion order contracts for assigned titles or publishers to ensure compliance with company contract guidelines. The successful candidate is responsible for reviewing documents and contracts, developing and maintaining policies and procedures related to contracts, maintaining contracts and the contract database, interfacing with all areas of the Sales and Finance departments as well as our customers to provide accurate contract information. Attention to detail, well developed computer skills, multitasking and the ability to work under pressure are traits necessary in this position. Candidates with a basic knowledge of legal contractual guidelines are a plus.
Job Description:
- This position is located in our Scottsdale, Arizona corporate headquarters.
- Responsible for preparation and verification of contracts and associated paperwork to prepare a complete contract package
- Maintains and retrieves contract documents as needed
- Reviews submitted documents for completeness and compliance with federal and state regulations and company policy
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of related job experience are essential.
- Strong background and knowledge of contract administration and accounting as well as knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures pertaining to the administration of contracts.
- Strong project management skills, the ability to be detail oriented, accurate, self-motivated, independent while being receptive to guidance and supervision.
- Great work-ethic assuring goals are achieved in a timely manner
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task under time constraints
- Strong interpersonal skills as well as the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing with our customers. Must have good people skills offering effective customer support and client satisfaction as well as the ability to interact professionally with our diverse group of publishers/customers around the US
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of MAS200 or FileMaker Pro a decided plus
AKIYAMA PRESS OPERATORS AND HELPERS

We are currently in search of additional press operators and helpers. These are full time fully benefited positions. There are opportunities for overtime and a shift differential is paid to employees on our evening/night shifts. Automotive repair and mechanical abilities often include the skills necessary to operate this type of equipment.
Job Description:As an Akiyama press operator, reporting directly to the company’s Pressroom Shift Supervisors, you will operate the press, produce quality jobs, perform routine press maintenance and other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.
As an Akiyama press helper, reporting directly to the company’s Pressroom Shift Supervisors, you will operate the feed end of the Akiyama press, load paper, refill ink fountains, aid in quality control and fulfill general tasks in the pressroom.
For the helper positions no experience is necessary. We will train successful candidates that possess a great work ethic, a great attitude, and a willingness to learn the trade. You must also work well with others in a very team oriented environment.
- These positions are located in the Tucson, Arizona printing facility.
Qualifications:- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Experience is a plus, but not required.

BINDERY EQUIPMENT OPERATORS

We are currently in search of new and experienced bindery help. These are full time fully benefited positions. There are opportunities for overtime and a variety of work hours are available. Basic mechanical ability is necessary for these positions.
Job Description:As a Bindery Equipment Operator, reporting directly to the company’s Bindery Supervisor, you will operate all bindery production equipment including but not limited to paper cutter, folder, multi-binder and ink-jet labeler.
- This position located in the Tucson, Arizona facility.
- Operate and maintain paper cutter, MBO continuous feed folder, Muller/Martini Minuteman Multi-Binder and Domino High-Speed Ink-Jet Labler.
- Comply with federal, state and local statutes and company policies.
- Work well with others in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment, work with the publisher network, and customers to enhance existing business.
Qualifications:- 2-4 years of bindery/finishing experience preferable but not necessary.
- Computer skills, including, database management and data capture software, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Driving a possibility. Clean driving record a plus.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

PRODUCTION ARTIST - LAYOUT & IMAGING

Sunshine Media is looking for a dynamic Production Artist to join their creative team. This Production Artist is responsible for the layout and photo prep work for a variety of B2B magazines. The ideal candidate can produce layouts, adhere to graphic standards and work with team members and clients to achieve desired results. This person is also able to inspect, correct, and retouch the images received for our publications. This includes the ability to adjust photographic images for the proper color balance, size, color space, and profile using Adobe Photoshop.
Description:
- Produce layouts in an effective and timely manner, closely following graphic standards and client specifications
- Work with Production Manager to create flexible, appealing layouts for magazine features, ads, and other marketing materials
- Inspect all incoming photographic images for color balance, resolution, quality, color space, and retouching needs
- Correct images for proper magazine specifications and press output
- Scanning any film or reflective material to be used
- Work with Imaging Specialist and Production Coordinators on solutions for problem photos and layouts
Requirements:
- 2 years of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop CS
- Experience with multi-page layout
- Experience with retouching photographs
- Understand and execute color theory for proper color balancing of photos
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex directions
- Ability to meet constant deadlines
- Good Customer service skills
- Proofreading experience a plus

PUBLISHER
Sunshine Media, Inc. is currently hiring self-motivated independent contractors who are self-directed, ambitious sales professionals to accelerate its national expansion of 6 magazine titles already published in over 150 local markets. The ideal candidate has strong sales experience, preferably in advertising media sales. Experience in, or knowledge of, the local newspaper and magazine publishing industries is helpful.
As an independent, local market-based Publisher, your goal is to sell advertising and produce a monthly magazine devoted to local readers and local issues with the help of an experienced team of publishing professionals at Sunshine Media. Familiarity with the residential or commercial building, healthcare, real estate, dental or food service fields is a huge plus.
This position is an Independent Contractor opportunity and is 100% commission-based. There are no caps on your ability to grow your business and earn higher income. Educational Requirements:

Working knowledge of PCs or Macintosh, Microsoft Office & Adobe Acrobat products; Hardware requirements: Pentium III, Windows 2000 or later version, or a Macintosh. Broadband to your home office is a decided advantage.
