Sunshine Media Printing is a state-of-the-art printing plant located in Tucson, AZ, producing work exclusively for Sunshine Media, Inc. Publishers. From its modest storefront beginnings in 1993, the plant has grown to a 14,700-square-foot, all-digital facility with equipment valued at more than $3 million. Last year alone, 71 million pages were printed for Sunshine Media's seven title brands.
A 30-employee staff led by General Manager Howie Hibbs uses the latest printing technology to turn out eight pages of four-color proofs every five minutes. Two presses operate at approximately 10,000 impressions per hour. Pages are bound, UV coated and labeled for shipping - all at the same facility, ensuring products of consistent high quality.
